SEYMOUR: Miss Mary Zinsmeister, age 59, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. She was the daughter of the late Harold O. and Dorothy (Chegin) Zinsmeister and was born on October 18, 1952 in Derby. Mary received her associate’s degree in banking finance at Sacred Heart University. Her first job was an office worker at W.T. Grant, than became a manager at Connecticut National Bank in Derby, then a personnel director at Spectrum Plastics in Ansonia and a lockbox coordinator at FBD in Waterbury. She was an active member of St. Peter & Paul Church in Ansonia. Mary was an avid collector of many items, enjoyed planting flowers, watching action movies and was passionate about music and loved to play the guitar. Mary is survived by her devoted sister, Anna E. Zinsmeister and her loving aunt, Pauline Chegin both of Seymour and several cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9 at 9:15 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Church, Ansonia. Interment in St. Peter & St. Paul Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and a Parastas at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
