Diamond  F.   Rosa
Mr. Diamond F. Rosa, 66, of Oxford, passed away on March 4, 2014 with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late Ferdinand and Georgette Rosa on December 4, 1947 in Bridgeport. Diamond was raised by his late grandmother, Aurora “Vovo” (Rosa) Pires from an early age.

Diamond worked in the electrical field all through his career, finally settling into the lighting field as a lighting specialist. He loved his work and always enjoyed helping his customers. Diamond was an avid boater and spent most of the summer months with friends at the marina or out fishing on his boat. He also loved to attend his grandsons ball games and watch his granddaughters put on dance shows and gymnastic routines.

Diamond is survived by his two sons, Diamond and his wife Kristyn and Christopher and his wife Heta, all of Oxford; five grandchildren, Vanessa, Kassidy, Marissa, Jeet and Saar; his brother, Ferdinand Rosa of Gainsville, Georgia, sisters Linda Rosa of Shelton and Aurora Rosa of Oxford, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 11 at 11a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Rd., Oxford. Interment will be held in private. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ralph. E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour.
