SEYMOUR, CT: Julie K. Waniga, age 97, a lifelong resident Seymour entered peaceful rest January 27, 2015 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; she was the beloved wife of the late Pater Waniga. Mrs. Waniga was born July 21, 1917 in Newark, N.J., daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Stekla) Gluss. She was a retired Sales Accountant at Uniroyal, Naugatuck. Julie was a communicant of Three Saints Orthodox Church, Ansonia. Mrs. Waniga leaves her loving family including her son, Gregory Waniga (Catherine) of Hopkinton, NH, her grandsons, Ross and Miles Waniga, and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, John Gluss and sister, Marie Gluss predeceased her. Calling Hours are Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Three Saints Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia. Her Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
