SEYMOUR CT-Margaret M. (Takacs) Cimelus, age 94, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Cimelus, entered peaceful rest on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Shady Knoll Health Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 1, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Agyagos) Takacs. She spent much of her life in Bridgeport until the passing of her sister Elizabeth when she moved to Seymour and then finally to Oxford. Margaret enjoyed her trips with her late husband and had many interests and hobbies. She was a participant at Senior Care of Middlebury and a member of the Oxford Senior Center.
Survivors include her beloved son, Kenneth and his wife Wendy of Oxford, her cherished grandchildren, Matthew J. Cimelus, CT State Police Trooper, his wife Shallon, Gretchen W. Wasik RN, her husband Jeffery, and her two great grandchildren, Robert and Nathan, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Stephen and Ernest Takacs, and her sisters Helen and Elizabeth Takacs. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 9:00 am from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 and at 9:30 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
