Obituary for William M. Kelly

SEYMOUR CT-William M. Kelly, age 62, of Seymour, entered peaceful rest on Friday, October 16, 2015 in his home. Born in Troy, NY on December 29, 1952, he was a son of John and Mary (Lovenguth) Kelly of NY. A US Navy submariner veteran of Vietnam, he was a graduate of Colonial School of Engineering in Bridgeport and employed by Colonial Engineering of Milford. His career finished as a mechanical designer for DuPont in Newtown. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, painting, camping, visits to the shore and joyous family time. In addition to his parents, survivors include his beloved daughters, Sarah Kelly and her husband Christopher of Branford, and Kristen Kelly and her husband Benjamin Allen of CO; brother, John F. Kelly and his wife Georgia of TX; sisters, Jean Cusick and her husband Steve of FL, Kathy Price of TN, and Patty Kelly of Milford. He is also survived by his very special granddaughter, Madison “Sage” Kelly of Branford, as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 4pm to 7pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 with military honors taking place at 5pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
