Mary Ruth Anne (Barrett) Luby, age 84, beloved wife of the late Raymond Luby, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2015 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA on February 17, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth Barrett. A retired telephone operator for AT&T, Mary enjoyed life and adored her children, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, David Luby and his fiancé Sharon Sanford of Seymour, and Richard Luby of Seymour; sisters, Elizabet Barrett and Patricia Bilsky of PA; seven grandchildren, Melody, David, Christian, Danielle, Cassandra, Richard and Ryan, as well as eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Pizzola. Funeral Services will take place at on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 9:30 am in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will follow in Oak Cliff Cemetery, Derby. Relatives and friends may call Saturday morning from 8:30 am until the time of service.
