Life Story for Michael Dainiak

ANSONIA, CT: Michael Dainiak, age 89 of Ansonia, formerly of Bridgeport and Stratford entered peaceful rest on January 26, 2016 at his home with his devoted family by his side; he was the beloved husband of Joyce (Eheman) Dainiak. Mr. Dainiak was born September 12, 1926 in Norwich, son of the late Nikita and Sophia (Shostak) Dainiak. Michael was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran; he belonged to the Comcowich Carver Post 597 American Legion, Ansonia, and the Gordon - Viselli Post Veteran's of Foreign Wars, Post 50, Ansonia.

In Addition to his wife, Michael leaves his loving family including, a son, Michael Dainiak and his wife Cheryl of Ansonia, and a daughter, Marie Roth and her husband Steven of Scio, OR, his grandchildren, Jason, Brittany, Brianna, Nikita, Tyson, Garret and April, and great grandchildren, Kinley and Connor, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. A Memorial Service in celebration of Michael's life will immediate follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial Gifts may be made to the Seymour-Oxford Food Bank in care of the funeral home.
