Obituary for Daisy Jameson

OXFORD, CT: Daisy Jameson, age 88 of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest May 27, 2004 at her home; she was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Jameson. Mrs. Jameson was born July 13, 1915 in Milford, daughter of the late Jacob and Julia (Razee) Zellner. Daisy was the retired owner of the former Olde Schoolhouse Gift Shoppe in Oxford which she and her husband ran for many years, retiring in 1994; she resided in Oxford since 1954. Mrs. Jameson was a communicant of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Daisy had a fond love of animals. She leaves her dear friends William and Cindy Burns, and their children, Michael and Kerry Burns all of Oxford.
A funeral service with Requiem Eucharist will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Oxford Road, Oxford. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial gifts may be sent to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, c/o 1 Dutton Rd., Oxford, CT 06478, or to the CT Humane Society, 788 Amity Rd., Bethany, CT 06524.
