Condolence From: Michael Pander
Condolence: Richard Ryan, one of those dedicated teachers one remembers for a lifetime because of the things taught both in the classroom and elsewhere through influence and example. Sense of humor? He taught his son that there were gefilte fish in their pond! Dedication? He trucked that fife & drum corps all over the state and to Valley Forge and Williamsburg. Successful teacher of Latin? Whether we wanted it or not at the time, he gave us a language skill we used for a lifetime.
March those angels at 90 beats per minute, Mr. Ryan.

Condolence: Mr. Ryan was an incredible teacher who connected with me as a student through his intelligence, modesty and wonderful sense of humor. I will never forget the Christmas skit, under his direction, we "put on" one year and had the whole school in an uproar. What wonderful memories are being invoked in me right now. and all I can say is, thank you Mr. Ryan, I was so fortunate to have you as a teacher and a friend.

Condolence: God bless you and rest in peace, Mr Ryan. You were one of my favorite teachers at Kolbe. I remember a nice visit with you and Mrs Ryan one summer in the late 1960s. Adieu, Monsieur.

Condolence: May you rest in peace Mr. Ryan you were with no doubt the best teacher I was fortunate to have at Kolbe. You were sincere, giving and someone who could be counted on.You made learning a gratifying experience!
I'll never forget, when in Spanish class I fell asleep, and you quietly emptied the classroom and then made a noise so to wake me...what a shock when I realized I was alone. My first thought "holy crab"!I never fell asleep again! Thank you again Mr. Ryan for being my teacher...
