SEYMOUR, CT: Florence Masiak age 94 a lifetime resident of Seymour entered peaceful rest on July 6, 2016 at Gardner Heights Health Center, Shelton. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Masiak. Mrs. Masiak was born December 29, 1921 in Seymour, daughter of the late August and Anna (Hafersat) Krause. Florence was a communicant of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oxford; she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing. SHe also was fond of travel, painting, and gardening.

Florence leaves her devoted and loving son Kevin Masiak of Seymour. Her sister, Martha Bates, and brother, Arthur Krause predeceased her.

Friends may call on Sunday July 17th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Road, Oxford. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour. Memorial Gifts may be sent to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
