BEACON FALLS ,CT: Lois E. Jeffreys, age 80 of Beacon Falls, entered peaceful rest on October 10, 2016 at Shady Knoll Health Center, Seymour; she was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Jeffreys. Mrs. Jeffreys was born November 6, 1935 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Edmund and Esther L. (Parry) Hollister. She was a member of the Beacon Falls Congregational Church. Lois loved spending time with her family, caring for her cats, and feeding the birds. She also enjoyed Country Music and especially loved her grandchildren

Lois leaves her loving family, including her daughter, Darlene S. Ridolfi of Beacon Falls, her sons, Thomas J. Jeffreys of Waterbury, Todd M. Jeffreys of Stratford, Tracy E. Jeffreys of Milford, and Dale C. Jeffreys of Beacon Falls. her brothers, Kenneth and Robert Hollister of Moscow, PA, her sisters, Charlotte Schaffer of Moscow, PA, Dorothy Lutz of Scranton, PA, and Barbara Walton of Newfoundland, PA; also 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her sister Rebecca Swingle, her brother, Homer, and granddaughter Ashley predeceased her.

Calling Hours are Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. , and Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church ST., Seymour. The Funeral Service in celebration of Lois' life will be Friday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour.
