OXFORD, CT: Daniel J. “DJ” Tricarico, age 54 of Oxford entered peaceful rest on March 9, 2017. Mr. Tricarico was born March 13, 1962 in Derby beloved son of Anna (Baranek) Tricarico of Citrus Springs, FL, and the late Joseph Tricarico. Daniel had worked on the Road Crew for the State of CT, and later for various security firms. He was an avid firearms enthusiast; he was a member and President of the Oxford Mustangs Gun Club. Daniel had a love of the South and for snowstorms. He enjoyed watching NASCAR events and Westerns.

Daniel leaves his loving family including his mother, Anna Tricarico and her fiancé' Raymond Haversat of Citrus Springs, FL, a sister, Laura Niski and her husband Andrew of Oxford, and his nephews and niece, Matthew Niski of Seymour, Alexander Niski of Boston, MA, and Corrinn Niski of Oxford; also many special close friends and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Memorial Service in celebration of Daniel's life will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
