William (Bill, Billy) L. Jensen, Jr., age 74, beloved husband of 49 years to Geraldine M. (Blackwood) Jensen of Beacon Falls entered into peaceful rest on March 19th surrounded by his loving family at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
He was the son of the late William L. Jensen, Sr. and the late Elizabeth (McCluskey) Reynolds and was born on December 26, 1942 in New Haven. Mr. Jensen graduated from Seymour High School where he played football and was a member of the aviation club. He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as a B-52 Bomber Chief Aircraft Mechanic. He worked for Farrell's Corp. in Ansonia as a draftsman and manager, and later as an engineer, engineering manager for Air Shield Corp. in Stratford for 29 years. Bill was the proud owner/operator of BJ's Model Engine Service and was the former owner of the Prospect Mobile Gas Station.
