Martin L. "Marty"  Langston
– Martin “Marty” L. Langston, age 60 of Southbury, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Abbott Terrace Health Care, Waterbury. Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 23, 1957, he was a son of the late William Sr. and Collette (Wahl) Langston. The owner of G&M Langston Power Sanding and Staining, Marty loved the outdoors and fishing. He was an avid baseball fan, especially the Baltimore Orioles, and will be remembered for his quick wit and ability to make anyone laugh. Survivors include his loving children, Tyler, Bennett and Sara Langston (fiancé Nicholas Kulish) and their mother, Georgine “Gigi” (Sophy) Langston; two adored grandchildren, Colton and Addison; brothers and sisters, William Langston, Jr. (Theresa), Keith Langston (Karen), Brian Langston (Judy), Bonnie Brown (Mike), and Darlene Janulius, as well as many nieces and nephews, and his best friend and cousin, Bobby Tuttle. A memorial gathering in his honor will take place on Thursday, April 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675-8517.
