Condolence: To the family of Veronica, I am truly sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in the scriptures such as 1 Peter 5:6,7 where god tells us to throw our anxiety on him because he cares for us. I hope this gives you faith and hope in this dark time.

Condolence: Mrs. Atkas and her husband became my landlords back in 1972. I lived there for 13 years...brought two babies home from the hospital to that house, got divorced, had many parties which she was all for) which were co-sponsored with her son, Ronald. I introduced by brother to her daughter, Cee-Cee, and as everyone knows they are happily married and best of friends. She was always there for me every single time I needed her and, as a mostly single mother all those years, that happened more than I probably remember. She never complained about me and, as a matter of fact, if I left my laundry on the line and it was going to rain, she would come over and take it off the line and fold it. She had a great laugh and a great personality. She was a really, really wonderful woman and I know she is finally where she has wanted to go...with God, with her husband, and her two sons, John and Ronald. The world is a better place because of her. I know how very much Cee-Cee and her daughters, Cathy and Kristen, loved their Mimi. How could you not? Regardless of the last couple of years where age unfortunately took the real Mrs. Atkas from them, she will be remembered for who she was all those years she was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. I will miss her. Thank you, Mrs. Atkas, for everything.
