Joseph Potosky, age 89 of Seymour, beloved husband of Mary (Varian) Potosky, entered peaceful rest of Friday, May 19, 2017 in Shady Knoll Health Care, Seymour. Born in Seymour on September 6, 1927, he was a son of the late Paul and Mary (Daziak) Potosky. A US Army veteran of WWII, Mr. Potosky was a lineman for Northeast Utilities. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and Brennan girls. In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by his loving daughters, Cheryl Ritter of Seymour and Lindsay Michaels of NC; three adored grandchildren and two great grandsons.A Funeral Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Church St. Seymour. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
