Life Story for Robyn Leigh Carter

PROSPECT, CT: Robyn Leigh Carter, age 45 of Prospect, formerly of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest after fighting a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. She fought the hard battle with dignity, humor, and strength. She passed away in the loving arms of her mother, sister, and best friend Marlo; with her daughter, Olivia, and Olivia’s father by her side; all the while surrounded by the rest of her precious family. Robyn was a dedicated educator who taught at Oxford Center School for the past 21 years; her illness never interfered with her care and dedication to her students.

Robyn leaves her loving family, including her daughter Olivia "Livvy" Carter of Prospect, her mother Kandy Newkirk of Seymour, her sister, Tracy Beckwith, and her nephews, Nicholas, Daniel and Michael, of Bethany.

It was Robyn’s wish to have her friends and acquaintances join her family in a celebration of her life at Anthony’s Ocean View, 450 Lighthouse Rd, New Haven, CT this Saturday, October 21st, from
1-4PM. There are no calling hours. Interment will be private. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home,161 W. Church St., Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements. To share a memory online, please go to www.hullfh.com
