I Remember

I remember my sister when we were young and like most brother and sisters we did not feel we liked each other very much. I remember when it was the goal of my brother and I to see how much we could torment her every day..I remember as we grew older I developed a grudging respect for her when being two years behind her in school I was constantly told by the teachers "you need to be more like your sister and be a better student" I remember her giving me 25 cents when I ran out of money at a school trip to lake compounce. I remember her when we were adults and the normal family disputes. Mostly I remember the last few years when aged enough to realize that we loved each other and we grew so close. I remember the day I was told she was so sick and thinking "please not now not when we have grown so close and still have so much to tell each other! I'm sorry sis we just ran out of time. I will miss you so much. Your brother Skip
