Obituary for Rosemary "Rose" Earley (Carbutti)

Rosemary (Rose) Earley, age 81, of Bethany, beloved wife of John B. Earley, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, in the presence of family members. Born in New Haven, on July 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Carbutti (Castiline). Rose was a graduate of Quinnipiac College and worked for General Motors Corporation for a number of years; after marrying John Earley they both managed a dairy farm in Bethany. She took a great deal of pride in the accomplishments of her son, nephews, nieces and other family members. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, and will be remembered for her energy, independence and interest in the world around her. Survivors include her loving husband and son, John B Earley & John B Earley Jr; her brother and his wife: Andrew & Carol Carbutti; Nephews & their wives & their children: Mark Carbutti, Peter & Amy Carbutti and their daughter Bella Carbutti; Jonathan & Caryn Carbutti and their son Julian Carbutti & daughter Ally Carbutti; Andrew & Lisa Carbutti and son Andy Carbutti IV, daughter Anna Carbutti & son Chris Carbutti; Robert Young and his sons: Ryan Young & Tyler; Sandra Martin and her husband David Martin and their sons Joshua Martin & Jess Martin; Nephew: Mark Falcone; and Niece Lori Falquero & husband John Falquero and their daughter: Emma Falquero; and sister-in-law: Marie Carbutti and her daughters: Paula Carbutti & Gina Carbutti. Rose was predeceased by her brother, Paul Carbutti. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in The Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Calling hours will be from 9:30 am until the time of services. Interment will follow in The Northwest Cemetery, Woodbridge.
