George ("Sergeant Ellis") was a seasoned veteran when I joined the Security Department 38 years ago.  I first met him when I transferred to the Bridgeport Plant later that year and immediately found him to be a calm, caring mentor who was well liked by the entire department. George was always ready to share experiences and advice in order help others on the force and we learned much from him.  I know that he and my dad (Sikorsky Facilities Engineering) also shared a bond as they were both WWII Navy veterans.  My condolences to the entire extended Ellis family on your loss.
