NEW HAVEN, CT: Maria Chvirko, age 69 of New Haven, formerly of Oxford and Seymour entered peaceful rest at her home on March 5, 2016. Maria was born in Germany on November 2, 1946, daughter of the late Naum and Anna Kosciuszek. She was retired from the Yale University Law School as a Paralegal. She leaves her loving family including her son, Greg Chvirko of Seymour, and will be fondly remembered as a loving grandmother to Joshua, Michael, and Olivia, she also leaves a sister, Tatiana Lechnowsky of Rochester, NY, and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, John. Mikolaj, and Paul Kosciuszek predeceased her.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Memorial Service in celebration of Maria's life will immediately follow on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
