Yolanda M. (Ragonese) Lodice, age 84, of Stratford (previously of Fairfield), beloved wife of the late Michael Paul Lodice, entered peaceful rest on Sunday June 5, 2016 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Stratford. Born in Bridgeport on June 22, 1931, she was a daughter of the late James and Maria (Carbone) Ragonese. She will be remembered for her love of old movies, Elvis Presley, being a great cook (making the “Best Meatballs Ever”), but most importantly as a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Lodice is survived by her loving children, Cheryl D’Addario and her husband Al of Derby, Michael J. Lodice and his wife Barbara of Oxford, and Chris P. Lodice and his wife Lori of Shelton; 3 adored grandchildren, Michael, Chris & Jordan; as well as 5 cherished great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Jessica L. Lodice and 4 sisters. A Memorial Service in celebration of Yolanda’s life will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd. Seymour CT, 06483.
