Our condolences go out to Dr. Yang's wife Sue and children Kai, Andrew and Michael and their extended families. He will always be in my memories as a remarkable gentle man. The seven years I worked for TJ at UCONN under his scientific and fatherly guidance will stay with me forever. I will never forget he hired only Sue's to work for him, Sue G, Sue P, Sue A, in part for his love of Sue his wife. The Yang Gang, a team of students and lab associates under his guidance in the early 80's, have all been successful due to his teaching style and the caring he showed each of us. I always looked forward to the travel and family updates at Christmas that we shared for over 30 years. TJ (Thomas or Dr. Yang to most of us) will be missed but we were blessed to know a truely remarkable and well loved man. Sue Gawlak and Frank Savona
